Project Manager / Business System Analyst (Remote)

We need to hire another experienced  Project Manager / Business Analyst to join our technical all-star team to lead clients through the technical process of how we create data integrations.

Being a Project Manager / Business System Analyst with Modulus Data will allow you to be on the front lines with clients providing them leadership, guidance, and technical brilliance to bring their systems together through our cutting-edge next generation platform and connectors.

You will be partnering with our Delivery Team on a variety of different projects, focusing on Oracle HCM and engaging with a variety of clients working on, business requirements gathering and integrations that will solve the HR business needs. All projects are delivered through online conferences with screen shares to promote knowledge sharing. 

What you will do in this role?

  • Development of data mapping templates for HCM solutions (but not limited to) documenting business requirements, processes, and workflows, and data visualization for the Client to understand the complete flow of the integration.

  • Coordinates communication and information to meet project needs and assure smooth and efficient completion of projects and activities.

  • Responsible for scheduling and leading status meetings, requirements gathering sessions, and other ad hoc meetings.

  • Collaborate with Technical Consultants to ensure the client’s business needs are being met with the development of the integration.

  • Tracks and analyzes issues or problems related to planning, integration design, and user acceptance testing results.

  • Open, manage, and resolve Service Requests with Vendor Client support systems and services when applicable. 

  • Collaborates with the Delivery team to ensure Client expectations are met and exceeded all the while staying within budget and project timelines.

  • Identify upsell opportunities during the integration projects and draft Change Requests for approval.

  • Assisting in managing client expectations.

  • Support the deployment, adoption, and scaling of solutions developed for the Client.

  • Provide exceptional communication to all parties that are involved with the Projects.

Essential Skills and Experience 

  • CEGEP or College Diploma equivalent or in Computer Science, Information  Technology, Business Administration and Management, or a closely related field and 2-3 years of job-related experience in an information technology environment focusing on HR systems. 

  • Strong technology and business acumen.

  • Strong background in gathering business requirements and development of data maps for integrations, including Oracle HCM.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, both technical and business.

  • A proven track record in Client engagement and demonstrated exceptional Delivery and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to view things from an out-of-the box thinking perspective. 

  • The skill and ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects that often have competing timelines and deadlines.

  • Demonstrated experience in the development of project plans to manage resources within budget and project scope.

  • Demonstrated experience in the development of project plans.

  • Demonstrated exceptional Client service and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated experience in fast-paced environments and meeting client go-live deadlines.

  • Self-aware, motivated, coachable, ability to collaborate with all team members.

Nice to have

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute or similarly recognized organization is desirable.

  • Experience with HR/Finance data integrations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration and Management related field, or its equivalent professional experience. 

Within the 1st Month, You’ll

  • Participate in our training program, which will give you the understanding and knowledge of our product and processes. 

  • Begin shadowing/ramping onto projects as soon as training is completed. 

  • Interact with Clients as part of your first live deployments.

Within 3 Months, You’ll

  • Consistently and successfully implement projects in 90 days or less. 

  • Be fully ramped up, managing up to 10 concurrent projects and taking Clients live with their integrations each month.

  • Be fully versed in Modulus Data tools keeping essential Client data organized and tracking all your interactions with Clients. 

  • Create urgency, instill confidence, and provide fantastic Client service as you guide Clients through the initial project and their early adoption stage of the integrations at their company.

Within 6 Months, You’ll

  • Continue to manage a high volume of Clients through the implementation process to ensure successful projects.

  • Become a subject matter expert in several aspects of Modulus Data products.

  • Meet and exceed quarterly metrics and objectives.

  • Provide input for overall implementation process improvements.

  • Start contributing to Delivery team initiatives.

Within the 12 Months, You’ll

  • Deepen knowledge of processes to increase satisfaction and improve development and deployment time within your projects.

  • Provide advice to clients during requirements gathering to develop the data map for the integration(s).

  • Identify process improvements within our processes, propose solutions and execute to continue raising the bar with the team.
